Accurate. The most reddit of my Uni m8s studying CS loves scripting shit while the more autistic ones prefer C. I am surprised they're all into the OOP paradigm though. Maybe it's true that only /g/ likes sperging about muh imperative programming.
Another part is commenting. I've gone through some reddit code, it's either very poorly documented or full of lame memes. I guess 4chans love producing meme code too, but it's often more offensive or subtle.
No, I'm not studying CS, but I'm into tech and the CS department is very visible at my Uni.
