i dont want to have my music taking up space on my phone
160GB iPod Classic. Need to get something bigger soon, though. Preferably something that accepts high capacity microsd cards, because the players I've found which have more than my iPod are also bulky as shit.

I had a Zune 120 before moving onto the iPod, and I found it to be a good player. Better than the iPod, though not by a huge degree.

Why don't you get a high res player with micro sd slot with up to 200gb.
The x5 series has two slots so you get up to 400gb.

Wouldn't recommend the x1 got it and went for the x5ii after that.
It's okay but it can't be used as a usb dac.
As much as I read about the m3 it's the same hardware as the x1 just with other interface.
