Well it doesn't require a cable. But throughput speeds aren't that much different. Depends in which generation lte in your area and what your phone supports. Dsl is way better for gaming because jitter and latency is very low, even lower than docsis at higher bandwidths

Yes, a bit higher latency though. Here in Australia we have fixed wireless that uses LTE and the speeds go up to 50/20, you get a decent allowance too.
