What have you upgraded recently?
What are you looking to upgrade next?
i dropped your mother and picked up your girl.
my next upgrade will be your little sister.

if anyone is going to fuck my sister its gonna be family, not some fat neck bearded loser like you
>have i5 2500K / 8GB RAM / 128GB SSD / HD7850
Another 8GB RAM and a 500GB SSD (together about €180) would be a nice upgrade, right? Or would that be throwing away money?
Going to get the 850 Pro 1TB when the new models arrive and the prices finally take a dip.
Shouldn't take too long for the new stuff to come to the market.
Also going to get the Mushkin 4TB SSD when it comes out.
500$ for 4TB is a pretty decent price compared to anything else out there.
A forced upgrade for me. PSU died and fried my whole system. I got:
i5 6600k running at 4.5ghz
Asus maximus viii hero
Gskill ripaws v 3200 16gb
Corsair H110i gtx
Asus strix r9 390 8gb
Corsair hx750i
Im happy with it

Same, been looking for a 1tb m.2 for awhile now.
Just did a new build
> 2x 850 Evo 250GB
> i5 6500
> Titan X
> Z170 ITX motherboard
Looking to do a custom water cool loop this month on it.
>>53379269
You should be. Very nice.
>>53379762
>Titan X
>Locked i5
>Watercooling
This has to be bait.

I upgraded my Dell 2005FPW to a ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q.
Sidegrade my motherboard from a Gigabyte GA-Z87ZX-UD4H to an MSi Z97S. Swapped my case from an 800D to a 750D for better aircooling and dust filtering.
Next up is GTX 780 to a x80 Pascal.
So,I bought a GTX 750ti (I'm a poorfag),but I've heard Nvidia's new drivers are gimping their old cards,so I'm not sure if I should update the drivers or just leave it as it is,what do you guys think?

Got a new R9 290 6 months ago for dirt cheap ($220) with a free copy of DiRT Rally from Newegg. Was pretty happy about it. The card has pretty much exceeded my expectations, being able to render games at 2560x1600 with only a slight difference in performance.
VSR (DSR being nVidia's counterpart) is mega useful for games where you need to be able to see stuff in the distance without zooming in. Helps a lot with depth perception in games in my opinion.
I need to upgrade my mobo to a LGA 1151 and my CPU to an i5-6500.
I fell for the AMD CPU meme three years ago because I wanted to save money, and didn't know that single-threaded CPU performance was more important for playing the original Dark Souls on the PC (because the game uses the CPU to render everything... x.x).

The X gets hot. and the i5 will be one of the cheaper things to upgrade. Which I am thinking of doing if the new skylake refreshes will work in the 1151 socket on the Z170 chipset.
Just spent 1000€ for an upgrade
> 6700K
> GA-Z170X G5
> 950 Pro M.2 256GB
> Dominator DDR4 16GB
> Fractal Design R5
This is part of the $1000 I put into my new computer.
I was looking around for improving performance and heard about "razer game booster". Is that something worth using?
8320e and a H100i-gtx. All in all my temps are stone cold at 4GHz. Motherboard restrictions don't allow for going any higher even though the CPU can. Next upgrade will be motherboard.
>>53379291
What do you propose we talk about, then?
>mfw can't justify expanding my DDR3 RAM now when I'll probably get a new CPU and motherboard with DDR4 in a year or so.
8GB really is getting a bit insufficient
>>53379815
>implying locked means not being able to overclock
>>53378752
Exactly what you posted. Pic related.
>>53380561
I was looking for 2 minutes before I actually found it in your pic. Goddamn I'm still amazed at how much smaller these things keep getting.
I built this a few months ago and I want to eventually get a EVGA 980Ti Hybrid for the Oculus Rift.
>>53378918
Holy fuck are you me? That is exactly what I have.
I'm pretty satisfied for right now, I'd say hold on to your $$$ and wait for better upgrades.
>>53379269
Serious question, how do you prevent this from happening? This is my worst nightmare
>>53382904
By not cheaping out on the PSU, obviously.
Get something decent like a seasonic or something
>>53378770
9.5/10
Side were lost but they retured shortly after
>>53378752
Upgraded the cooling in my PC
>1 Cryorig 120mm Fan
>Cryorig C7 for da CPU
>Fan Splitters
Might be looking to get a new mobo come payday so I can overclock this i5-6400
I am looking to get a new case and some faster RAM along with another hard drive.
looking to upgrade my hd4850 to something like a 380 and maybe a 4TB hdd until i save up enough to justify spending enough to do a completely new system
>>53380514
>microcode updates
>>53378752
Just started ordering parts for a custom loop. First radiator will be here in about a week or so.
>tfw watercooled G3258 and R9 270X on one 240mm radiator
Where did I go so horribly wrong?
>>53382999
Plus a UPS to ensure clean power so the psu lasts longer. Still you should replace a psu after 5 years. I had a good one that lasted 7 before I noticed lower voltages.
got a 1440p monitor. want polaris
