So /g/, what's your IRC client? I'm about sick of mIRC's shit.

you a "hacker" bro? only "hackers" go on irc.

Limechat?

Not really, it's just a different place to be. My edgy teenage years were spent only dabbling in it because I was afraid of de gub'mit, but I'm too old to give a fuck now if the NSA is reading what I'm saying or not.
Different communities, different feel, different world.

I personally use mIRC on Windows, Pidgin on Debian, Colloquy on iOS and HoloIRC on Android. Used to use Yaaic on Android but Holo seems to have a better feel to it.
Weechat via putty.
If it's not weechat / irssi then it's objectively shit.
I've been using irssi, but I keep hearing about weechat. Is it that much better?
>>53371892
this to be honest.
weechat
WeeChat, you can "install" it on Windows using cygwin.
I use Xchat on my local Xserver and irssi/weechat on my shell

What is the problem with this, again ?
>>53371343
On Windows I just use mIRC because I bought a license for it back in the 90s and it still works.
On Linux I mostly use HexChat these days but was a weechat user for a good while. I am just fucking lazy now so I use muhgui
Irssi
irssi sucks behind znc. specifically, the playback buffers do not record messages you sent.
