The only thing thats really wierd when i looked into it is that no one has done reviews on it besides the 2gb version. I only found reviews on newegg and ncix. And some say they had driver problems , its pretty mixed.

Then it's a good purchase. Don't expect 60fps maxed out on newer games, but it'll run them fine with some settings turned down.
Speaking of opus i had a question.
just bought a new psu because my friend sent me a vega geforce gtx 760 for my new computer. pus works fine, computer works fine i installed that correctly, problem is when I put in the card. i got the pci-e cords in it right I BELIEVE and have it snug into the motherboard, the fans turn on and everything, the problem is when I have the card in, the computer screen won't pick up anything. not from the card itself OR from the integrated gpu on the motherboard. like as long as the card is in neither the motherboard display port nor the g card itself is being picked up. anyone know whats wrong or can give me some troubleshooting?

i felt the same way with a 980. it's fucking embarrassing buying nvidia gpu and thinking you're going to get good performance running gameworks but all it does is tank your framerate. one the biggest reason i'm switching to AMD once polaris is out, i'm not sold on memeworks garbage anymore.

On that note, why does AMD fail at tessalation? Their chips usually have more raw horsepower, but tessalation always fucks them over in terms of fps in games, making the card look worse. I saw a video about crysis 3 where a single concrete road barrier had thousands of objects in it, and looking at it caused a huge fps dip on amd hardware.

A: D3D11's actual limit for Tessellation is 64x (0-63)
B: No one expected 64x to actually be used in a game
C: It takes years of lead time to make these chips
D: They get that there are virtually no visual improvements from 16x to 32x
