I was about to order a 1TB Seagate once and noticed it had the price cut by 10 so you could buy 10 for the same price.
Called their support and got in contact with the manager and 1 hour later I got a phone call from the manager to tell me my shipping order.
Got a second 1TB and a 50% off on the 7800GT I had ordered.
Last time I checked I still had a 5% off code tied to my account.
I got the greens, and they sent an email confirming my order and taking my money, but when i check the shipping information online, it shows up as canceled because unavailable.
i'll see if they actually send me an email telling me its cancelled and if they don't by the time it's supposed to be here i'll call in and do the generic white mom bitching till i get something.
the interesting thing is that when i check the shipping information, it does say canceled, 0 available, but then has an option to reorder them. if i do get an email confirming cancellation i'll check that out.

I can't check the status of my order. When I go to website and put in my order number and phone number it comes up as invalid. I did not make an account during checkout and I have no idea why my number is coming up wrong. I got an order confirmation the the order was processing and I got a paypal confirmation that I've agreed to pay them and that they'll take the money when it gets shipped. I have not yet had the money taken out. Is my order cancelled? Is there any other way to track it? I ordered the greens.

I used to work at staples. I bought an acer iconia w3-810 tablet for $20. Employee discount + clearance + coupon + "open box" discount (it was a display model) = $20 tablet. I probably could have talked my boss into less because it was missing the power cord and the battery was dead but I knew it still worked so I went with it anyway. It also came with an unused copy of office.
I'm so glad my store closed and I don't have to deal with the bullshite anymore but I do miss those random sweet deals and stealing some of the good recycles.

Yeah but I also stole 10 recycled ink cartridges every month and I would recycle those again. If I was ever caught I could have gotten fired. I kept that one to myself. I would often wait until someone walked away from their register and left it signed in and then I just punched in my rewards number and 10x ink recycle sku (which I can not believe that I can't remember).
I once got a mint T40.

The difference is that they already processes the sale. If they cancel the sale before shipping, then that's fine, whatever. If they just ship one drive then that's fraud, especially since the sale page and receipt for the item says pack of _. Your example should be: If you were in store and went all the way through the checkout with a dozen eggs for $1 and then after you pay the cashier hands you one egg and says sorry it was mislabeled, it should not have read "one dozen eggs", but rather "one egg" so take your egg and go. I don't think it's lawsuit worthy but it's definitely charge-back worthy and it is certainly the wrong way to handle the situation. You either need to honor the sale or refuse it entirely.

You will absolutely not want to sue them. If it really comes to that, you will lose the case and you will be out more money than if you have bought each of the drives individually. They will offer you a refund and if you don't take it, you are SOL. A store manager will absolutely NOT just give away 19 hard drives.
