About to root my s5. Anyone got a good reason not to do it ?

I use cyanogenmod in my s5, if you can I recommend you do the same. TouchWiz is shit, root won't save you.

I put a bigger battery in my phone. In fact I take literally no precautions other than that. I leave screen on full brightness and always have a bluetooth device (android wear) connnected and leave wifi and data on.
Battery is nearly triple capacity of stock though

Is it a Zerolemon? How well does the S5 operate? I've been on a S3 for almost 3 years now and I've been debating on just getting an S5 for the ability to put a Zerolemon in it as well.

that's not how it works for Samsung devices.
if it isn't Verizon or ATT, there's nothing to unlock.
if it is, you need to trick KNOX signature checks, you can't just 'unlock' it.
Samsung devices don't even have a bootloader mode but a download mode (Odin), which always accept everything. later on during boot KNOX might hinder it to boot tho.

It is a big brick of a phone now but I'm a fully grown adult male and can hold it no problem. From what I've read, it ends up being about the same size as if you bought the big otterbox brand case.
