I have a fresh SSD and a copy of windows 10 on a usb ready to install.
Are there any settings I need to change in windows 10 to keep the SSD healthy? Also the SSD came with an install disc, what the shit? Is there anything on that that I should install once I have windows installed?
Naturally I will install linux second so that I do not have to fuck around with grub.

It's got 2 programs on it if I remember correctly, one is Samsung's ssd maintenance/benchmark/config program, and the other one is for data migration.

Install Disk of the Samsung SSD Firmware Updater. There is no firmware update available at the moment.

You might need to change settings in your bios to get the full speed benefit of a SSD. Look it up.
