Yes, I'm completely aware of the difference between the numerical and analytical approaches to this. What I'm saying is that this problem is way too complex to attempt starting with an analytical approach without first developing the numerical simulation. Otherwise we will continue to see chatbots and clumsy robots being the pinnacle of "AI". BBP is the path to the future of practical applications in robotics and AI.

But that's not what the OP is about though. I get your point about BBP — I think it's really cool and will be very useful understanding the brain. I guess I did go off on a bit of a tangent relative to topic. I have seen the videos of rat brain tissue being attached to substrates with electrodes being connected to traditional electronics / robotics. Interesting stuff, but I don't think we will get very far without doing the "due diligence" with numerical simulations first. Much too complex to just throw darts everywhere and hope something cool happens. I'll stop posting now.
