Which is what they already have. Unless you can show me the source code then their OS is almost guaranteed to be compromised. This is why so many people doing shady things use burner phones and not "encrypted" iphones.

At that time that presentation was created, iOS devices were not fully disk encrypted, which allowed Apple to dump user data for law enforcement without having to unlock the device. Cue the Snowden leaks, and starting with iOS 8 in late 2014, devices are now fully encrypted so that Apple has no way of accessing a device without first unlocking it with the user's passcode. Also, beginning in 2015, Apple refuses to dump data from pre-iOS 8 devices. It's these two things that have feds and cops completely buttflustered, culminating in the ongoing legal showdown.
In addition, there is iCloud, which is a completely optional service. Currently, iCloud user data is still accessible to Apple (and by extension, law enforcement) as they hold the key to decrypt what's on their servers.
Note that I said "currently." You can bet good money that they are working to make future iCloud user data inaccessible to anyone who doesn't have the right password, which will further infuriate cops.
I don't even know why I bother writing all this, since the same misinformed shitposts will get reposted endlessly in future threads.
