Ffuuuucccckkkkk
No espeako englando bra
>>53118007
I am still using a Core i7 940 in an Asus P6T-SE.
Still going today, close to upgrading at the moment.
>>53118007
I have a asus x79ws still going strong
>>53118007
Striker 2 formula, q6600, 4x2gb ddr 2 @ 800mhz still going strong
>>53118221
Looks the same, only one has a heatsink
Server serving requests since circa 2009.
Nothing has ever failed in it, except for periodic disk replacements.
Asus P5GZ-MX, 2007
My primary and only pc,Still going strong
Upgraded from my i5 750 a few month ago because it was bottlenecking my 970, aside from that it was stilll good, im probably gonna use it in a lower budget build for a friend or something
>>53121401
Hell yeah pentium D master race
>>53121506
Why 64 bit windows if 512 mb ram?
Why camera photo instead of screenshot?
Why windows 8.1 if pentium d and 512mb ram?
Hardly a masterrace
>>53118007
is miss the heatsink design on motherboards that where used from 2006 - 2010.
that asus motherboard gives me a hard on.
pic related, the motherboard i used back in 2007 when i had my e6600. didn't even come with a onboard sound card. shit was so awesome. those all copper heatsinks.
>>53122877
Love those industrial looking heatsinks. Maybe the price of copper skyrocketing around that time had something to do with it. Or tdp has progressively gotten lower.
>>53118007
Nvidia motherboard was the best desu senpai
>>53121506
why "product ID not available."
Got a slightly older one (2005), A8N-SLI Deluxe. It's brand new and still in the packaging. No idea what to do with it.
>>53118007
>>53122877
>>53123047
pic related. is it me, or have motherboards become less "cluttered?"
just look at the xfx >>53123047
compared to pic related, a new z170x-gaming 7, that xfx is cluttered with all those resistors, voltage regulators, and whatnot all over the place.
>>53120979
It still fucks with me
>>53120851
>I have a asus x79ws still going strong
Good luck with that. I'm on my fourth. They keep dying, but I keep finding new ones for cheap each time I consider upgrading everything.
>>53120672
Nehalem Stronk
I have a 930 on a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R. Am also thinking of upgrading, but it just ain't worth the money, when you come right down to it.
>>53118007
>you still use?
Yes. 1055T here.
>how functional are today?
Never had a problem. SB 46C, NB 41C.
I still use my Gigabyte x58-ud5, just switched old i7 950 with a cheap Xeon x5670, happy as fuck.
>>53118007
>mfw lanparty X58
Ah Gigabyte. Probably the only mainboard manufacturer I've never had a single problem with in all my pc builds, both personal and commercial.
Back the fuck up.
>>53123234
That looks like a motherboard with random Gunpla placed all over
>>53126255
Autistic as fuck
>>53118007
phenom x3 8450 still going strong.
i7 860 still going strong.
>>53126239
Gigabyte is literally the only motherboard I've owned that's ever died on me. Gotta love anecdotes
>>53127597
I should add, I only buy Gigabyte motherboards and graphics cards. They're the only brand that lives up to the premium hype in my experience.
>Asus
never again.
I have an ASUS P5Q-E that i use as my general fucking around with rig. I also at one time had an EVGA 790i Ultra.
>>53118007
posting from one right now
and running a shitbox from 1991 right next to it
>>53120672
>>53124629
fuck yeah Nehalem for life
I got a 920 on an Intel DX58SO. The built in audio got fucked a while back but I just use an external USB sound device. Thingken of replacing the old ass GTX 460 I got in it with something better.
>>53126255
That's so tacky... I want one.
>>53123047
OP here
Intel QX9770 3.20 Ghz
16Gb ddr3 1600Mhz
780 ti 3Gb
and is still a monster these days
>>53123047
This. Still use mine in my main pc...
Mobo, ram, cpu and gpu all almost 7 years old now and still working pretty well as my main computer. A new graphics card is waiting for me at the post office right now though.
>>53129278
sweet
>>53126255
>The heat sink consists of three parts created for visual aesthetics and thermal properties and is not intended as a weapon, no can it be assembled as a firearm.
Someone wanted to sell their motherboards in the People's Republic of Kaliforna, Chiraq, and DC.
>>53123234
probably because they don't need all those capacitors, or have switched to SMT caps
>>53121506
how the fuck can you use w8.1 with only 512mb of ram, holy shit, i struggled to run that nightmare with 2gb
>>53121596
if he opened mspaint im sure that shit would crash
MSI board with i5-650 and HD280x over here. Thinking about upgrading next year.
>>53127611
Well out of probably well over 50 builds and never had a problem compared to your 1 build. Yup, gotta love anecdotes.
ASUS P4v8x
Jeeze still remember the motherboard name after all this time
Had to use a PATA to SATA adapter
Neon makes it faster
>i still don't own a decent desktop computer
>>53131474
>ASUS P4v8x
>socket 478
Damn, that is old. Why not go buy a cheap c2d/c2q comp for like $50?
I'd still be running my evga x58 with my i7 if i hadn't bricked my mobo with my custom vreg watercooling heatsink.
half the capacitors on this thing are blown.
still works.
i gave my mother a dell i found in the trash that had an i5-2400/8gb ram/windows 7. i finally wanted to upgrade so i bought a Dell NUC for 120$ at Frys. was good enough for daily browsing but was a little slow when watching multiple videos. so i just gave my mom the NUC and took her computer. I'll upgrade when the motherboard dies and only if i can't find a decent used replacement mobo.
>>53131637
still works but i took it apart and is sitting in a closet. took the ssd out of it and put it in my new rig. SSD still running strong considering i bought it in DEC 2011.
>>53131474
Reminds me of my A7V600-X and A8N-E. THe times when motherboards didn't have "design" look.
>>53121091
what's up with the pink UI?
>>53122877
Perfecto.
>hera
kek. "era" you fuck.
>>53130909
even 50 is not even remotely statistically significant for a production run numbering in the millions if not tens of millions.
>>53120875
>>53128423
that was amazing, mine is q6600 with asus p5kc. it's now 8 years old.
gpu is broken. so needed new gpu now.
P5K/EPU with E8400
No blown capacitors, everything works like a charm
>M2N-MX SE
Currently using
>M2N-E SLI
The most problematic mobo you can ever have.
The first PCI port doesn't work with my GPU but the second one does. But then I don't have space to the gpu to breath and i get a BSOD.
