Deepin because it's good looking and intuitive to use.
The unique flaw it has is that Deepin still has to finish developing its own file manager (and file picker).

Are you referring to Linux as a whole or the cinnamon DE itself? Because if my laptop running Arch is using a DE with a botnet, I need to get a new one ASAP.

Xfce is very nice but doesn't have many features.

LXDE has some nice software, great for old/shitty computers.

For me, currently, Gnome 3 > MATE > XFCE > KDE > LXDE

Don't have enough experience with LXQt to rate it.

I like Gnome 3 because I usually use single monitor setups, as I primarily use a laptop, and the way the virtual desktops work just make it very easy to have a ton of things open and running without having to hunt for them. It's also pretty awesome looking (default and themes, arc-dark being my favorite).

Qemu+kvm is the correct choice, especially if you want GPU pass-through. Xen is good (compared to anything else), but it is a lot more complicated to setup, for poorer performance than qemu+kvm offers.

Running any VM on Windows is the textbook definition of doing it wrong.

xmonad looks really nice. The fact that it relies on Haskell though is a turn-off though. If you know Haskell already (or maybe want to learn it), that's one thing, but the idea of learning it just to use xmonad though just seems a bit dumb.

anon...I use i3 on a 204ppi screen. Do you need help setting it up?

What problems are you having. If you have trouble, xrandr is a lifesaver. Just find your dpi and type xrandr --dpi <yourdpihere>. i3 adjusts everything really. You can do the edge cases in qtconfig and gtk config tools.

In general, to me hidpi is best used for giving me extra space, so I don't follow this and actually keep Xs DPI at 96.
>>
>>53112020

I don't understand why anyone would use OpenBox over Fluxbox though. They are very similar. Enough so that it's not an issue of one looking, or feeling better than the other. Where Fluxbox outshines it is in configuration. Configuring Fluxbox is pretty much just editing simple text files. It's just so much easier to get setup the way you want it.
