I have a note 4 with 32g of internal. I just bought it last month, upgraded from an s3. anyways for whatever reason i decided I wanted a memory card for it today so I went out and bought a 64G patriot. I had originally intended to get a 128 but I wasn't prepared to pay... I think it was $59 cad iirc.
I'm just curious what size other people use in their phones I'm kind of regretting not just splurging for the 128 now but its just autism I'll never fucking fill 64....

Like I said I just got my note 4 last month and while my phone is new obviously its not a new model, but I loved my s3 and wanted to stick with Samsung and the note 4 really seemed like the most satisfying option to me.

I lost an unencrypted phone with a bunch of personal shit on it before and lost a month of my life crying over it. It had a pass code but still that don't mean shit. I encrypt everything now as soon as I get it.

I do that too kind of I have a wired adapter thing you plug into your phone micro and then you can plug any USB into it I use for media but I mostly use that on my tablet but thats why its good just to have an adapter you can use any USB stick on any device.

It formats and encrypts the SD but then if you add files, turn off the phone, remove the mSD and open it in another device, all the data is visible and you can edit/delete it, so there's no difference with being unencrypted.

OK, I took the encrypted card out of my note 4 and put it into my Acer tablet and the tablet would not mount the SD card, couldn't access it at all. Then i put it back on my phone and it worked fine. And I out my tablet mem card back in ,y tablet and it worked fine.

Almost all of it is music with a few GBs of ROM backups.
Next time I'm not going to cheap out and get the cheapest storage. My 128GB Samsung evo cost like $65 but is slow as fuck. About 9 MB/s write and 20 MB/s read.
