Depending what speed i require, LZ4, gzip or bzip2. LZMA based ones add too much time compressing compared to the saved time transmitting.

FYZIP, check it out if you haven't heard of it. Installer is loaded with shitspam adds but free (no trial and then annoying pop ups, it's actually free) has a nicer UI than most IMO and supports drag and drop file management between FYZip windows and windows explorer

Why use it over regular one or winrar?
All I really want is so that when I double-click an .exe file, it extracts *everything* to a temp directory before running that exe.
It's really the only reason why I'm using WinRar over 7-zip.
If someone can link me how to do this in 7zip or a free extractor that can do it, I'll gladly dump that chunk of shit.
