What is all the faggotry with the glitter on the second pic from left to right?
I prefer suicidal Debian unstable than ubuntu, but I think it's not as base as g says it's. My wife loved using it. But it's too macos for me...

All of that looks absolutely terrible, OSX rip off theme, 2.4k packages, stupid desktop effects, powerline, those stock icons and of course, the boated ugly mess that is unity.
>>
>>52974105
That is be cause they are.
>>
>>52974161
The theme is Flatabulous, it's not powerline, it's ZSH with Oh-My-ZSH, and those aren't stock icons retard, they're Numix Circle. And Unity is fantastic.
>>
>>52974226
The theme is an OSX rip off you idiot
It's a power line theme, regardless if it's oh-my-zsh you fucking idiot
I wasn't saying they were stock, they look stock you fucking total idiot
and using Unity pretty much sums up what you are: A total fucking immeasurable idiot

Darwin is the best open-source operating system currently on the market. It's a shame that apple doesn't release installable .iso's anymore. No one wants to take the time to use http://darwinbuild.macosforge.org/
>>
>>52974285
So your only argument is that i'm an idiot when i tell you what it is. and then you finish it off with telling me to kill myself. you are why some of the linux community is cancerous. you have this weird superiority complex and feel the need to shit on everything.

No, but you have access to the tens of thousands of packages from pkgsrc/portage/macports/brew

it's exactly like any distribution of GNU/Linux, except it actually has drivers and the kernel doesn't suck lol.
>>
>>52974343
Werks out of the box for me, and i've never ran into kernel problems either. but yeah, it looks like a cool project. I've been thinking of getting a mbp and putting homebrew on it and tinkering with it.

sup, i've been using antergos for a while but decided to install xubuntu after running into some driver problems on arch.

i'm sold on *buntus, my experience has been really nice.

anyone know how to get gaps/tiling with openbox? i'm using xfwm but if i could figure out how to make openbox tile/gap i would cum hard.
>>
>>52975082
I had a similar bug in Ubuntu MATE and I fixed it by changing ~/.icons/default/index.theme which had a line that says Inherits = NameOfPointer and you just replace that with the name of the pointer you want to use.
>>
>>52975135
I used to use arch too, but then when i had to reinstall it due to driver issues, it wouldn't even detect my wifi, i spent 10 hours trying to fix it, nothing. i went back ubuntu, and my experience is fantastic. it's no wonder the *buntus or things based on the *buntus are the most popular distros.
>>
>>52975261
i would definitely stick with ubuntu, i don't see a point in distro hopping anymore
