I'd sacrifice a bit of aesthetics willingly to get speeds on my browser. However today's phones are usually powerful enough to not have any hurdles anyway. I've been using Naked Browser since my landscape keyboard xperia smartphone and it hasn't disappointed me yet

I had a nexus 5 from pretty much around the time it came out until about a month ago when it broke and I moved onto an LG G4.
You are really going to want either a portable battery bank or a nice battery case as its easier to see the difference now that I'm on a new phone.

I usually get around 3 hours and 45 mins of screen on time with my nexus 5. Awhile back I tried rooting it. Installed greenify, used aggressive doze, and yet I was lucky to get 2 hours of sot. Not sure where the battery drain was coming from as the only things using significant battery percentage was the screen, Android system and my browser. I recently unrooted my device and I'm back to nearly 4 hours of sot.

My first smartphone was a shitty Chinese phone with a 1000mAh battery and it used to last me 5 days. My current one is a Lenovo S860 with a 4000mAh battery and it lasts for over a week. I use it to check the news for some 10 minutes every morning, some Skype here and there, phone calls and texts and look at the time.
Also never understood the need for apps like Greenify and all that mambo jumbo, never used them myself

I cruise 4chan and text frequently. I'm in a group chat so there's always a bunch of messages. Music and games occasionally. All the screen-on time kills the battery. I also have bittorrent sync backing up the storage and music which will murder battery power when it runs checksums and encrypts data.
I don't use facebook but other people do and that app is a notorious battery killer. Ruins battery life, just on idle.
