Literally none of this applies to me.

Everything "just works". Seriously, I have not had a single problem with Debian or any of the so called "meme programs".

And if I don't know how to do something or am confused it just requires one quick look at the faq or just googling the problem to get the answer I need within a couple of minutes.

same thing happened here. Had to hard restart Ubuntu (it got hanged, happens sometimes). Next reboot - all my torrents are gone.

>>
>>52926312
Uh, what?
I've hard shutdown my computer (Xubuntu) lots of times, many while downloading shit in qBittorrent and the worst that has happened is that qBit has had to check the torrent before starting the download again.

Of course you can, just not with magnet links, same as any client. Deluge is still shit though.

There is a Windows version out there. It's called Transmission Qt. It's not official, but it works.

There's an official version coming with 2.90, as well, and it will probably become the only Windows version.
>>
>>52932434
Windows works just fine, qbittorent too.

I've installed qbittorent on a few win7, some 8.1 and a bunch of 10's, works on the pre-release 10, on w2008r2, w2012r2 and the w2016 technical preview.

At least it worked when I tried it.

So I think our comrade is either shilling for utorrent, a retard or has bad luck.

It's a thing that has happened 1-2 times now. The shutdown process hangs, it says that the CPU Core #2 is stuck. Won't shut down unless I make a hard shutdown. qBittorrent was blank, had to reload every single torrent, had to recheck them, and now they're loaded again.
I'm attaching a screenshot as a proof, if someone wouldn't believe me.

By the way I like qBittorrent, but this is absolutely unacceptable. One wrong shutdown, and all my torrents are gone? Laughable.

Utorrent is easily the best torrent client by far.

However it does have dumb shit like ads and malware installers which makes untrustworthy.

If Utorrent were ever made open source and got rid of all that crap, everyone would drop their current client for it, because it's that much better than any other client.
