/g/, why are you still not using TOR?
>>
Because I don't use my computer to trade drugs for CP. Or anything else illegal.
>>
It's compromised. Maybe it was always compromised...
>>
What would i use slowest browser ever for?
>>
>>52921997
freedom, privancy
>>
>>52921923
tor is for people who "need" it.
>>
>>52921969
it's publicized every time they use the exploit, though. and it's always after genuinely bad people.
for the meantime it's better than nothing.
>>
>>52922022
Im not in USA so i got it all.
>>
because i'm not doing anything illegal, nor do i live in a country where freedom of speech is in danger.
>>
>>52922075
But they spy everywhere, didnt you read the news?
>>
>>52922063
>what is i2p
>>
>>52921923

I don't need to be on the NSA watch list.

I have nothing to hide

>>
>>52922124
There is no watch list. Everything is collected.

Whos gonna spy me shitposting on 4chan all day?
>>
I don't do drugs.
>>
>>52922178
Not persons (hence the who), computers do. Google PRISM.
>>
Too slow for me. Most sites I use (4chan) ban for users
>>
>>52921923
Snowden is a faggot who should be tried for treason and executed by firing squad.

Tor however, I love and use whenever possible. :^)
>>
>>52922212
>NSA
So im safe. Why does America spy on its own citizens anyways? For their 'Safety'?
>>
>>52922077
Where in the fuck does this place exist?
>>
>>52922967
china
australia
>>
>>52922337

It's not an "American exclusive" problem. Any country with a significant amount of it's population using the internet has ongoing privacy issues.

Most people routinely forget that David Cameron wants to make encryption illegal.
>>
>>52922263
Snowden cannot be tried for treason because nothing he did infringes on the legal definition of treason.
>>
>>52922337
So they can have information about terrorists.
>>
>>52921923
It's boring.
>>
>>52922155
but that makes a convenient filter for analysis: uses tor < 1%
>>
>>52923012
>David Cameron
just googled him and had a hearty kek at how punchable his face is
>>
>>52923201
Well, they dont know that you use TOR, because you use TOR. (The dont know means here: they cant connect your searches, visited websites, mails, etc into one profile)

no thanks, mr NSA
>>
>>52921923
Too slow. Get time outs when regular browsers load in under a second.
>>
>>52921923
I do though. I actually use a VPN and Tor most of the time, as my VPN provider offers that. Not suitable for posting on North Korean finger painting social clubs though.

Annoying faggot.
>>
Tried it a few weeks ago, went to a database of pages, a ton of CP links, noped out of there and got rid of tor.

>some people use a privancy tool for cp
>privancy tool is bad; get rid of it
>>

>so i'm just gonna browse clearnet!

That's like saying
>a bullet proof vest does not protect me 100% against bullets
>so I'll just go out naked
>>
>>52921923
cuz you can't shitpost on 4chan with it u fuccboi
>>
>>52924126
God damnit people, just use i2p. We're lonely here ;_;
>>
>>52921923

Because I use PiA that I paid for by Walmart giftcard and had password sent to ProtonMail account. Also, have necessary browser extensions.

This is all probably overkill since I'm not Muslim, work in retail, and don't download CP. But I'm a privacy advocate so gotta practice what I preach.

>>

i2p is not any more secure then Tor if used properly
>>
>>52924468
Cause the fascists in the gov agencies would like to punish him as an example for masses to stay away from exposing their crimes.
>>
>>52923053
So do they believe their own citizens are actually terrorists? How the fuck do they expect us to trust them when they can't trust us?
>>
>>52924713
So, basically, you were wrong. He could and will be tried for treasonous acts against the US and ultimately executed or sentence to a life in prison.
>>
>>52921923

I use it but for things like to look at the other chan which has an onion, hint hint 4chan. I like the idea of TOR especially for free speech in oppressed countries but it can be slower than clearweb browsers so is a backup thing really.
>>
The security risks and hassles inherent in Tor are too much for me to justify daily use.

You have got to assume that end nodes are evil and will try to inject malicious code and spy on whatever they can.

Firefox is a buggy, vulnerable pile of shit.

You can do things like turn off Javascript, but that doesn't prevent all possible application layer attacks.
>>
Using freenet, free as in freedumbs
>>
What's the computer Snowden uses?
>>
>>52924851
So basically, you were wrong. He could not and will not be tried for treasonous acts against the US.

GB is a pretty bad example for that kind of claim. It's the worlds most aggressive surveillance state after the US.
