So /g/ if you had to choose one would you take an enforced Data cap with great speeds or no data cap with shitty speeds?

That's not even really a question, slow speed/no cap. What good is high speeds with a cap?

Fortunately, despite the memes, there are still plenty of ISPs in the States that are high speed/no cap. It's just that Comcast/AT&T have those caps and that they service a whole lot of people.

Though for the past month or so i've been having a boatload of issues, router disconnecting every 5 minutes and very bad latency issues between 6pm and 12am every day.

So far they couldn't find any solution. But i;m moving in a month so it'll be next owners issue anyhow.

This is actually a 7 year old plan so it costs more than it should. Could cancel phone and tv as I don't really use tv and phone anymore and get 50/10 for same price (maybe less), but can't be bothered with it tbqh.

OP here, forgot to mentioned that mine is also uncapped. If anyone is in Kansas or California, hook yourself up with CCI/Surewest. Good contract deals, no bullshit, actually decent customer service. Far better than Cockcast or ATITS&TITS

I've actually had no real problems with Comcast. My brother stopped paying the cable bill after he moved out over 2 years ago. They disconnected our cable TV but we've had free Internet for like 2 years now. I feel like I'm in that episode of The Wire where the feds/cops are keeping us connected to monitor my traffic.
