Best customer service on the planet?

Nordstrom

Also as an IT professional, literally every vendor has better service than apple for enterprise users.
>>
>>52894731
Logitech. Will literally replace anything with a serial number.
>>
>>52894731
maybe if you are full blown retarded and have more money than sense
>>
>>52894796
Nordstrom returned a tire. They don't even sell tires.
>>
>>52894761
More like

>here's a new device
>>
>>52894731
I agree. Fucked up my iPhone, they gave me a new one after about 5 minutes of walking in the door.
>>
>>52894816
My hamster died and Logitech brought it back to life. Logitech doesn't even perform miracles
>>
>>52894731
Who really does though?
>>
>>52894994
Apple
>>
>>52895138
>it's broken, you'll need to spend $1000 for a repair or buy a new one for $2000
>best
>>
>>52894820
Anyone will replace your shit if you buy their insurance/accidental warranty

Dell will go to your house and replace your laptop if you piss on it
>>
>>52894731
I used to think so but over christmas break I had trouble renting a movie on my new apple TV and got so frustrated by their buggy authentication system and crappy phone service which forced me to lie to not get hung up on that I didn't realze the stew I was cooking had burnt to ash

long story short there's a huge rage dent in my oven now
>>
Fuck you
>>
>>52895198
Enjoy waiting 2 weeks for Pajeet to come to your house only to tell you he has to take your piss soaked computer in for another week.
>>
>>52894731
Apple may have shit products, but the reason they are so successful is because the company was founded by, and run by liberal little faggy hippies who are good at marketing and sucking coc

Amazon.
>>
>>52895198
They'll do this in the first year even if you don't.
>>
>>52895359
They make it easy as fuck to use as well, which I love.

i hate apple as much as the next 4chan cuckold but let's be real, the iphone and ipod were pretty revolutionary products, even if the ideas didn't originate at apple. and while OSX is an inherently evil system sold by an inherently evil company, it's very functional, and probably the best product on the market.
>>
>>52895430
OSx still can't snap windows w/o third party software last time I checked.
>>
>>52895298
this desu senpai
>>
Pretty sure UK and US warranties are different, like you don't legally get 12 months warranty minimum with a new purchase?
>>
>>52895738
In the US it's generally 1 to 3 years factory warranty for new shit, sometimes refurb shit too
>>
Amazon
>>
>>52895169
But that's wrong pham.

Literally every Mac comes with a one year warranty where they will just replace the shit no questions asked so long as you're not a fucking twat. I was in an apple store a few weeks ago and one of the guys there noticed the front facing camera of my iPhone 6 was misaligned so they replaced the whole screen assembly for me on the spot for no charge.
>>
>>52895763
Just going off something I read recently on an xbox controller being like 30-90 days in the US or something?

Worst customer service I've had though was OCZ or EK, Fuck me what a chore to get an RMA let alone something within a decent time frame. OCZ asking me to send the defective goods over to the Netherlands and such a shitty turn around time I just bought another SSD and binned that one. EK waterblocks did a recall on one of mine and when I sent them the email invoice they said it was invalid and asked for a paper copy, wanted me to jump through a million hoops before I just said oh fuck off.
>>
>>52895359
>implying you aren't still getting ripped off due to the marked up price
>>
>>52894731
In Australia, definitely.

That being said, this is probably why: https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/apple-australia-gives-undertaking-to-accc-to-improve-its-consumer-guarantees-policies-and-practices

Dell gets criticism for their customer support from a lot of people but they've been pretty good for me so far. Logitech is really good, probably the best tho
>>
>>52895845
you know how they can afford to do this? because for every gimme given to a cucked out goy, they make many more shekels based on engineered obsolescence. there's no such thing as a free lunch -- these interactions which seem magnanimous are calculated directives designed to more effectively separate you from your money
>>
>>52895845

Dell sent a tech to my house to replace the bezel on my Inspiron 630M years ago, free of charge.

to
my

Fuck Apple.

Agreed, best customer service hands-down.
>>
>>52894796
Can confirm. They gave me a free G400 when my MX518 broke, then a free G400s the G400 broke. Just waiting for the G400s to go so that I can claim my free G402.

EVGA are also great.

>>
>>52894731
One of the worst is probably Samsung, their dead pixel policy is deliberately vague so they can choose to replace at their discretion, and usually choose not to. Fuckers
>>
>>52896920
My rMBP from 2012 is nearly as perfect as the day I bought it. Pray tell, when is this planned obsolescence going to kick in?
>>
Anyone know how dells warranties works from retailers?

Their screens cost like 200 bucks more on their own site and documentation in my language conflict a lot with the english ones.
>>
>>52897274
go shill your overpumped shitcoin somewhere else
>>
>>52895255
quit talking about things you have no idea about. dell are known for their instant replacement on the fly stuff; you call, they send someone with a working replacement the same instant, you get your computer or an equal replacement back within a few business days.
>>
>>52897512
They replaced my 2407WFP-HC no questions asked in a few days. Even paid for the shipping back. Very happy with their service
>>
>>52895677
"snap windows" as in, take screenshots? what?

i'm sorry, for a second i was under the impression that you were serious. look up your shit before you make these outrageous claims.
>>
>>52897416
Diferent anon, I've had macs last for 10+ years, but try that with a modern one 2014 onwards and see what happens.
>>
>>52897550
The rMBP 2012 model was the first with non-replaceable everything so I'm not sure what's so different between this one and 2014 models
>>
>>52894731
Apple's customer service is terrible.
Terrible!

They could literally all just be replaced with computers where you just answer yes/no questions because everything they will tell you is strictly governed by a service manual.
>>
>>52895763
Under NZ (and Australian) Consumer Law Apple's extended warranty is effectively worthless. It could even be classed as illegal in Australia.

https://www.consumer.org.nz/articles/extended-warranties
>>
>>52897438
You would RMA it through the retailer but, so long as it is legitimately new then Dell should still honor a warranty repair/replacement, the retailer would just be the middle man in the process.
>>
>>52897538
...you're the one who needs to look things up. Window snapping is not taking screenshots. Google it.

Only displays Apple didn't repair were on the iPhone 4 and 4s because of the design choice of the back being where the device opens rather than the front.
>>

>Under NZ (and Australian) Consumer Law Apple's extended warranty is effectively worthless. It could even be classed as illegal in Australia.

AppleCare does a lot more than just extending the warranty.

>>It could even be classed as illegal in Australia.

That's adorable. You think you know Australian consumer law.

Not many people know about it, but Apple also have an at-home service as part of AppleCare.

Apple customer service is only great in the US and maybe Europe

so it isn't really the best in the planet
>>

>hey the 30 pin connector on my iPod broke
>have you tried it in multiple PCs?
>yes
>literally takes a flashlight and looks at it for five seconds, takes it into the back room and chats with his gay friends, comes out and tells me that my warranty only pays for half the iPod, and I'll have to pay $150 to replace it.
Last time I ever bought an Apple product

How much do these shmoes make at the App Store? They tried to recruit me when I was a student.

I was thinking about buying a Macbook Air for the battery-life and the portability of the thing. I have never owned an Apple product. Is this a bad idea?

>>
>>52901483
I guess you're right. I haven't owned a laptop in years, so I'm not really up to date on modern laptops.
However I can definitely see how people are glamoured by Apple into buying their products.

Also TN screens really aren't bad at all.

Here you go:
http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/all-day-strong-longest-lasting-notebooks

Every other laptop on that list is either 1/4 the price, or has far far better screen, or far better functionality, except for the retina meme one that has the same performance as the $300 craptops on the list.
