I like W10, I run it on through Bootcamp on my mac. With DX12, it also runs games much more smoothly.
The choice between W8.1 and W10 is easy. W7 is a little harder, but I think future support is the best way to look at W7.
W10 has a different setup, and hopefully will rid itself of all the trappings of being designed for a tablet originally in future versions.
