I understand where you're coming from, but both coffee and dark chocolate have the appeal of a slight bitterness being enjoyable. Black coffee? I've gone through these stages several times now. First when I transitions from *buntu and its spinoffs like Mint to CrunchBang and then later Debian and learning more about everything. Then years later when I decided to try Arch after only using Debian for a long time. It was fucking great, unlike all the memes here and elsewhere on the Internet. I'm definitely seeing diminishing returns as far as learning more after switching to Debian, but boy am I happier on Arch.
I'm starting to see that Arch isn't perfect, it's just the Debian is seriously imperfect and it shows. They modify packages, don't stay up to date even on unstable branch, etc. Still, Arch is a breath of fresh air for me and I've gotten a lot of friends to use it no problem now as well.

Actually, as a faggot with social anxiety disorder, I can tell you that that it does in fact help relieve SAD temporarily when I am intoxicated. It helps me open up, and be more social, maybe to the point where I can be viewed as obnoxious. Drinking almost became a casual but very common thing I did.
