I used Total Launcher. Its not quite as fully featured as nova prime(the fewer gesture options is the only realgripe for me) and the full version is $7 on playstore. its a much steeper learning curve but has soooooo much more potential. its like klwp in a launcher with dynamic elements. oh there also is no dedicated app drawer either which drives me nuts. instead like a scrolling widget that either has to have its own home page or comes in a popup window that just covers the homescreen.

Find a more monotone icon pack, get a different clock widget (this one is just a bunch of text in rows), remove app labels, and remove page indicator. Please note I think it would look better with a more faded icon pack, not completely monotone.

That battery widget needs to be smaller, and change the color. Neither icon pack matches the wallpaper, and the inconsistent icons don't look nice either. Also get rid of page indicator.

check out total launcher. at least for visual sake it can do almost anything you can imagine. you can set it to just mask all your icons with a custom background, so just find or make a transparent image with a square. thats how I put hexagons around my icons
