The autistic furry behind it claims that it won't support proper HTML5 video because of muh freedums, but the real reason is that he's clueless and wouldn't know how to add those things, which weren't present in the deprecated version of Gecko that he renamed.
Pale Meme is the absolute shittiest choice around for a browser. If you're going to use something outdated, at least use Opera 12.

It's less bloated than firefox and has some nice themes, and that's why I use it. HTML5 youtube literally works just fine for me.

In about:config you need to change the string

to

This will still retain support for the flash video player so you can watch 1080p + rather than being stuck with 720P html5 player.
