So now that uTorrent literally sucks a giant dick, what is a nice simple lightweight torrent client I can use?
>>
Transmission.
>>
Deluge
>>
Transmission
>>
Just use 2.2.1
>>
Transmission, qBittorrent, or Deluge are the only acceptable answers.
>>
qBittorrent
>>
>>52672284
The only correct answer is Transmission.
>>
I hate how qbittorrent downloads folders you tell it to skip, can't use it
>>
Transmission or Deluge

Deluge has a beefier interface while Transmission is ultra lightweight
>>
Excuse me folks, what's the problem with uTorrent now?

Proprietary malware.
>>
>>52672284

>not using 2.2.1
No reason to use anything else, i've never had one problem with 2.2.1 anything past that is garbo from utorrent. you're fault op
>>
>>52672548

2007?
>>
Transmission for simplicity
qBittorrent for uTorrent clone
Deluge for a more rich interface.

>>52672526

>using outdated programs.

You're just asking for it
>>
use utorrent 2.2.1
>>
>>52672572
And for some reason people still use it
>>
>>52672353
>this
yes
>>
why do you autists think 2.2.1 is so great? I have 3.2 and it works fine and you can remove the ads.
>>
>>52672640
but you cant remove bitcoin miner, faggot
>>
>>52672574

Asking for what?
>>
>>52672640
Let me know when you can remove the botnet
>>
>>52672409
This.
>>
>>52672640
Last amazing version release
>>
>>52672679
Still a botnet
>>
>>52672284
Now ? Only now it sucks ?
I gave up on it 2 years ago because they ran a fucking bitcoin miner on my PC and the fans would be at 100% all the time. Fuck utorrent and their ads.
>>
>>52672284
Deluge
>>
>>52672646
>>52672671
that was an optional program with the installer
>>
>>52672690
So is every other Bittorrent client, stop spouting something you don't know what it even means.
>>
>>52672728
For someone who isn't a utorrent shill you sure seem to be fighting hard to keep people using your client.
>>
>>52672284
Anything other than uTorrent is insanely ugly, cluttered and requires setups that uTorrent doesn't require
>>
>>52672830
Confirmed uTorrent shill. Transmission is good looking, simple, and requires no setup. Neither does deluge, although at least its web interface takes a few minutes at most of getting used to unless you're literally retarded.
>>
>>52672284
Deluge is the best simple to use torrent software hands down. No ads.

What's wrong with uTorrent?

I don't like transmission because the folder finished torrent go into is the same unfinished torrents go into.

All I want from a torrent client:

>Thin client functionality (not webUI)
>RSS feed that can:
>>Assign labels based on feed
>>Specify file location based on feed

I know Deluge has thin client features, but it's not good enough with RSS feeds.

What should I use?

MPAA and uTorrent are collaborating together, and have been since 2007. Additional info from more recent times:

About a year ago it came out that utorrent was making money by secretly turning your computer into a bitcoin miner and sending the bitcoin back to the creator of utorrent.

Basically utorrent would use your electricity and hardware to make money without your knowledge.

Are there any that have really advanced controls?

Like lets say I want to quickly select to only download screenshots, then easily choose to download only videos that match with the name of certain screenshots quickly and easily. Without manually going back and forth and checking/unchecking a billion files individually.

Also if anyone can recommend a good batch video corruption checking program? Sucks to find out later the index of a video is fucked up despite downloading properly (since it was probably broke in the original seed).

enabling it stopped utorrent from stalling my drives every time i downloaded a bd remux

How do you guys handle large torrents with screenshots?

and autopreventing downloading certain filetypes
>>
Migrated to qbittorrent on a whim today, I'd forgotten about the whole .unwanted folder faggotry which made me stop using it last time I tried it and now I'm back to utorrent 2.2.1.

Can't really stand some aspects of deluge, are there any other decent options for windows?

rTorrent is the only reasonable torrent software.
