I had to take an online physics course. It used the most out of date, shitty java applications ever. And these applications weren't even on their own site.. They used other websites instead of making their own shit.

Why do people compare java to compiled languages? You won't even notice java runs half the speed of optimized c++ in shitty code that you'd write. If you compare java things people actually use like C#, JS or python it would actually make sense.
