Not the guy you responded too, but currently my only computer is a MacBook Pro. I've built at leased 5 desktops since I was about 14 but honestly the mix of the OS, which is without a doubt better (if you disagree you've obviously never used osx for any decent amount of time), and the simplicity of use and setup makes it a better choice if you can afford it and are not a gamer. Plus the single model of each model makes it incredible easy to buy stuff to change up your MacBook, bunch you'd have a much harder time doing with a windows laptop because of different manufacturers. Name one other laptop except slightly order pros where you can take the disk drive out and buy a perfectly fitted mount of a second hard drive or ssd?

Not when the Macbook pro or a iMac with a GPU (r9) is almost 5k and it's still shit on performance.
I can get HP Elitebooks, Thinkpads and even Dell latitudes with dedicated GPU's New for only 3000€ and the performance is so much better for CAD and video editing because they aren't crippled with a shit tier mobile CPU and they have glorious removable GPU's.

IIRC in newer Apple laptops you can't take out the HDD\SSD without doing visible damage to them. And even if that's no longer the case, it still shows how they treat their customers. Furthermore, older OSX versions lack several basic functions like the ability to turn off mouse acceleration (who does that? Was that an attempt to get me used to OSX and never want to return to other OSes?), basic drivers (didn't recognize my scanner, what the fuck? Linux and Windows both did) and it just wasn't looking good to my taste.
You may argue that it all was fixed in newer devices, but I'm not a retard to spend so much money on what already works on a proper platform.
