Who here ran PSP homebrew? What were your favorite non-emulator applications?

Besides emulators I didn't use it for much else. I had an NPR app, so I listened to NPR on my psp.
The psx emulator was really all I cared to use, besides a few terrible clones of a few modern games. There wasn't enough homebrew content to make it worthwhile, and I had no coding knowledge at the time.
Emulators were shit and the DS had better productivity homebrew apps thanks to touch input. None of the homebrew on these systems is even worth using now that phones have more power and better SDKs
Outside of Danganronpa there was absolutely nothing worthwhile in terms of games either.

i remember the good old days under dark_alex.
leda was some of the most useful shit for my psp2k.
still got my psp running 5.00 m33-6 with the memory patch, leda, and the compatibility patch to sign games so i can run 6.xx+ games and a fix to run the pro online clinet on non pro firmwares.
if the vita would be fully hacked it'd be the best emulation handheld ever. though i heard the 3ds has been hacked and homerbew development is going along nicely. i might pick up a n3ds if theres nice emulators and homebrews.
CSPSP
It was a 2D top down version of CS. It was the most fun I had back when I had my PSP. Online play, clans, modding and pre-2010 shitposting. I think it's dead now but IIRC, the dev released the source for it. I would like to see it on Android or iOS someday.
There used to be a really simple IR remote app, I would use it to fuck with my parents and they thought I was a leet haxor, good times.
That one youtube app where it also had access to porn websites. 10/10

Nah i know the one youre thinking of because the dude released it like a week before i was done, they were almost identical besides the background being different animations, i was pissed. I ended up just keeping it to myself.
But besides that, ctf theme making wasnt even really coding at all, it was changing values and images in packages with special snowflake sony compression. Still took effort but not as much as youd think

Played so many PS1 games on it, built most of my demonoid ratio on them.
And the emulators were awesome, i played many hours of modded Mario roms

I remember using IRShell. Besides that, I played lockjaw (tetris clone, not sure if it was native or on a GBA emulator) and POWDER (roguelike).
PSP homebrew, is it 2006 or 2006 plus 10?
All I use my PSP 1k for is Music, Einhander, Legend of Dragoon and Pokemon Red.
8 Years old and still going strong.

there's a few different types of cfw, but i've only found one that boots consistently on my n3ds(j)

So I heard some dude it's going to release a new patch to make all PSP models have permanent CFW like 6.20 but better.
I have a brand new PSP Go I would like to try it on.
Also what is the best way to take care of the battery, the PSP Go is practically new only used once.

Most emulators on my android let me plug in a controller, the pain is holding the controller and the phone.
I'm sure there is some stand out there that gets around this.

It had a really weird XMB image, though. Something with cats.
