Why do androidfags always pretend rooting and shit is easy as fuck and literally every device in the world is supported but every fucking time I buy one, even if it's old, literally nothing is able to root it? This time it's an archos 50e helium, great device but really needs root for adblocking, but I'm shit outta luck cause literally not a single root method works on it: apps, pc programs, adb methods and toolkits, etc. Framaroot plainly tells me it's not susceptible to any of the exploits it has.
All this makes me wonder why the goddamn fuck phone manufacturers are such stuck-up bitches and make root such an impossible thing too. If windows or linux had such locked-down superprivileges all hell would break loose.

Also, 99% of everything made for android is cancer: almost all the apps are dogshit, rooting programs on pc are complete malware, so-called "great" guides on xda and whatnot for adb rooting are written by pajeesh in engrish with half-assed instructions/details and they don't even work, etc.
I'm convinced the true android experience has got to be awesome but so far in 2 years it's been absolute shite.

My old G2 broke (well, it didn't really break, it just developed so many problems that it wasn't worth using) a few months ago, and since then I've been using a somewhat less broken iphone 4 I found in a drawer.
I ordered a G3 recently which should be getting here tomorrow. Planning on rooting it, installing xposed, adblocking software, titanium backup, all the essentials.
I'm also planning on storing a copy of the WIkipedia database on the SD card and carrying around a solar charger, in case society collapses or I get sent back in time or something.
