These phones are ridiculously priced for their specs and overly prone to obsolescence.
Some of these people even buy every new iteration of iPhone.
Why? Why do you do this, /g/? Even Windows Phones are better choices. Blackberries. Equivalently specced Android phones are literally half the price with twice the functionality.

I once used my Android phone to install a windows Iso on an old laptop, plus no bs proprietary software and expandable storage what more can you ask for. I used to have an iPhone. I legitimately enjoyed it, and then the draconian iTunes syncing method started failing consistently for me. Until they release simple MTP support for the iPhone(I know, it'll never happen) I will not use an iPhone again.

Switched away from all apple devices after my iPhone 4.
Just got tired of the shit, got tired of the updates immediately prior to the next Gen release slowing my phone down to a crawl.
Got tired of my battery being shit and not even lasting half a day after 4 months of use.
Switched to android phones and haven't gone back. Plus I can load my own audio and video direct from my computer, be it windows or Linux without issue or need for special software and licensing like with iTunes.
Also glad because I can drop my Droid phone over and over and not have broken screen.
Drop my iPhone on its edge once and the whole screen shatters

Actually the newer devices have been consistently not as good as even older iPhones. They also were never very good when it comes to color gamut. They are nice screens, I'm not saying they aren't, but they weren't and aren't some kind of industry standard perfect display.

AN OS. Not A. I actually haven't met anyone who's had to worry about that in any phone. Usually the services everything attach to are the point for surveillance. That being said there are security vulnerabilities in both which nobody seems to have used.
