Download and seed torrents with very very few seeds. Seed for looong periods of time to get maximum points and maximum multipliers.
When you hit about the 1tb mark of storage you'll be making about 100k a month, from there remove any torrents which are now overseeded and giving you less bonus. Pickup new torrents to fill the space.

also having big torrents (like seasons of the wire or your other favorite shows in HD) isn't necessarily going to hurt you too much. You're limited by effort as far as the low-seeded torrents while using big torrents could net you decent BP if you seed for longer times.
i only remember having twice the points I need for my next levels and simply not having the snatches to rankup. It's 3 years later I'm still working on the snatches and sitting at 3mil bonus points.

Not really, KG & CG have stuff that ptp doesn't occasionally so you can upload from there. I've found foreign ddl sites are the best bet though, pretty much anything that isn't a mainstream scene film rip will not be on ptp and you can upload it. Unless it's indian because ptp has some autistic curry there always uploading his honeyHD level shit.

Make sure to add the bib torrents paused, recheck them to 100%, and only THEN start them. Only then will you get any upload, if you announce to the tracker with an incomplete torrent, you will count as a freeloader and will get NOTHING.
There's way more comics and manga with leechers and no seeds if you want to build some easy ratio. You can also try cross-seeding audiobooks or big magazine packs, some can easily be found on public trackers or rutracker.

Oh one more thing-- if you don't wanna affect your monthly electric bill by keeping your Comp on 24/7 you could try a seedbox, should be about $15/month. Torrents seeded from both IPs will also receive double bonus points (info circa 2012)
Forums should have some comparison data on various seedbox hosting companies-- bytesizedhosting is one of the greatest in my experience.
I don't know if you care about Upload stats, if you do then seedboxes are great way to get upload credit because with their superspeed compared to your home connection they can download your favorite episodes in 20 seconds, and if you're on soon after release you actually receive A LOT of upload credit per episode. Delete episodes after minimum timeframe's over because seeder competition and lower volume of new downloads will reduce your returns to near zero compared to your high-bonus torrents.

After my experience on different sites HDB is actually one of the best. No bullshit, all the relevant info up front.
Browsing on BTN is absolutely awful. The info you need is buried several pages deep and you have to open separate pages for each season. And BTN routinely hangs for 30 seconds which makes it even worse. It's a bad website design and badly made. Retarded children like it because it has shiny banners.
PTP is a bit better than BTN but still has many of the same problems. Useful info is buried too deep.

On HDB for TV shows if you click the banner it takes you to a nice page with expandable groups for each season. The torrents are named with the group name and use the standard HDB titles which give all the most important info up front.
For movies the "other copies of this film" section works perfectly fine.

Yeah PTP is best for browsing based on metadata, that is true.
However I prefer the simplicity of HDB. You can browse directors or actors off site and then search whatever films interest you on HDB.
Do one thing and do it well. HDB follows that philosophy and is excellent. Their staff seem more experienced and professional than any other site. Other sites are made by Jr. Devs in school and HDB is made by old bearded unix wizards.

I think that, to be honest, not many people actually compare screens. It's only really us top austists, and the other encoder austists that bother. For example, look how many people settle for the scene bluray releases because they're first, and don't upgrade to the p2p internals.

The area I live in normally has a yearly snowfall of around 10 inches spread throughout 3-5 snow storms.
This ONE storm was around 32 inches, and up to 40 inches in some areas.
This area just doesn't have the equipment, man power, or salt to deal with the accumulation.
Sorry if that makes us "pussies" but when you live in an area with over 5000 people per square mile and almost no snow removal equipment, things get shut down.

I use to upload screenshots for yen and then I quit though I will say I do plan to upload screenshots on what I've downloaded that don't have them.
Kind of a bummer they aren't required but I guess the uploader's feelings would be - hey I did the work, let someone else do it.

My comparisons have always just been on my pc, with identical frame screenshots. Most have been fairly conclusive, but then again I've never compared slightly different bluray editions or anything.
I try to be less autistic though, because it's largely irrelevant for me most of the time. My tv isn't good enough for me to be noticing much of a difference. I'm happy with scene most of the time for airing tv.

better to have an incentive than no incentive.
Currently AB has no incentive (besides the normal screenshot bonus points) for uploading screenshots with a torrent. So almost no one does.
At least if there were a 1000-2000 yen bonus for including some screen shots then SOME people would go through the effort and SOME of the torrents would have screenshots.
As it stands now basically nothing gets screenshots unless someone comes through and does it for the bonus points later.
