Redmi 3 is nice, I would wait few months when they release an updated variant and internacional MIUI version becomes available for it, Honor 5x has nice specs but EMUI is like IOS and some shit bloatware from Huawei that cant be removed. Do not know about that oppo but sure they have nices phones. Put an eye on the Ulephone Be Touch 3 also has nice specs

Never buy anything from Elephone. Bought the Elephone G2, it promises 4 custom roms from launch, including cyanogenmod. They ended up not even delivering one rom and was stuck with a nearly non usable phone. Luckily I bought it for a back up. But $99 gone, I tried a PayPal dispute, but they demanded me to pay $60 for China shipping. Never Again.

Oneplus and Oppo aren't "true" chinaphones, since they are equally focused on international endeavours as national.
Xiaomi (except Redmi) and Meizu are either too expensive or too average to really offer any real chinkphone advantages.
The real excitement is in all the true chinese brands like ThL, Doogee, Zopo, Coolpad, ECOO, Elephone, iNew, Jiayu etc with which you either get really good value or absolute shit depending on how well you do your research, if you are interested and do your job well enough you can buy a new phone every year and sell your old one for a profit, which is really sweet if you ask me.

I can't buy anything that isn't a Nexus. It's not because I'm a fanboy, it's because no one can do software like Google can.
Even OEM phones that run close to stock, like OnePlus and Motorola are still full of bugs. I just can't tolerate a phone that doesn't work the way I want it to work.
I'm very tempted to try a Galaxy, but I don't have any hopes that the software isn't going to be a dumpster fire.

Xiaomi's Mi4 is objectively the best looking phone out there, unfortunately LTE does not work in North America. Still packs decent specs otherwise.
