Yes, easily. Going from 1440p to 4K is even better and 1080p to 4K should be fucking amazing. For the first time in my life things on my PC monitor are sharp as fuck and pixels are too tiny to see or notice at all.

IPS. I use a pair of Asus PB278Qs as my daily drivers, I'd take them over my friend's 120hz 1440p any day. The colors and depth you achieve with IPS just can't be achieved with TN.

I'm kind of torn actually. The XB271HU has thinner bezels but it has this awful GAYMUR design aesthetic, the stand is particularly atrocious. The XB270HU is thicker but at least it's a little understated.

I did it almost 4 years ago and it has been great.
If you're getting a monitor with a high refreshrate, specifically for FPS games i suggest looking into stuff like contrast etc. It sucks to get a nifty 100+ fps and be unable to see who's hiding in the dark corner.

I've bought the Asus MG279Q and I love it. No quality issues at all.
Just moving around my mouse on the desktop with 144 Hz is lots of fun. I can never go back to 60 Hz.
