After using this new version, I can say it has some nice new features.
Thread history is good. It remembers the scroll position of each visited thread.
Overall performance is improved, especially the loading of images.
New themes are nice.
But catalog mode has only 2 threads per row. Should be configurable.

This is precisely my gripes with v2. I also don't like how replying is always inline and doesn't go into its own page so I can actually see what I've written instead of always having to scroll up.
Another thing is that catalog view has a lot of wasted space now with borders and separators, the preview image and text for threads are much smaller.
