windows: malwarebytes + Ublock origin + common sense
linux: ublock oriign + common sense + maltrail
McAfee lol
Not running AV for years, no issues. But recently I had to join some shared folders on Google Drive, Droobox etc for work. Do those services have good A/V protection for stuff that gets shared in such groups? I assume I still need some common sense for executables in archives and stuff like that.

If you're honestly too stupid or too busy to spend a half an hour getting the basics of Linux down, Malwarebytes pro.

Only downside: Kaspersky overreacts sometimes.

Preventive antivirus is all shit. Just don't.
Now, if it's about virus removal from an already infected computer, the answer is: all of them. No antivirus has 100% detection, and even though they have major overlaps, they all detect some different things.
Have a usb key (that you only use on infected computers, and format regularly) that contains portable files for malwarebytes, super anti spyware, hitman pro, rkill, adware cleaner, combofix, jrt, rougekiller, sc-cleaner, just every fucking trustable antivirus you know of.
sticking to the AUR
Just don't download crap and use reliable sources.
