My website has no front page. The index page immediately directs the user to a random page on my site. This is because my site is intended to show the user a random video page upon entry.
How will search engines perceive that? Will they think it's spam or give me a 100% bounce rate? And does it make sense to have a title and description about my website for my index page, even though it is just a tool for redirection?

Yes, but get the SEO addons to optimize keywords, it helped me go form mage 15 to page 1. Wordpress is very good for SEO though.
