Windows 10 has alienated a portion of the windows user base, and they're looking for alernatives.

Linux, in general, is hard if you have never dealt with it before, and /g/ shits on Ubuntu so they don't try it first.
Ubuntu is the only PnP whole GUI distro I have ever used, and is really the best option for those coming from windows. Even mint has a ton of issues that need to be fixed from a command line.
