Hey /g/, I've been wanting to make this post for a while. I really like tech and computers, obviously. For about 8 years now, I have been tinkering with computers and reading online and watching tutorials here and there. I've picked up a lot, but I never formally learned about computers and how the software and firmware actually works. I know how to get around windows and install operating systems from a USB stick, but have no idea how to use Linux and what gentoo is good for, for example. Here are some things I've picked up or learned so far over the years:
Coding:
>HTML and CSS
>a bit of python (still learning)
>teensy bit of GLua
General usage:
>Basically everything about using Windows, even more intermediate/advanced stuff like permissions
>basic command line experience with Linux and Windows, thanks to raspberry pi
>I know how to modify my system to my liking
Physical Hardware:
>Know every function of every component of a computer, down to the difference between 7200rpm and 5400rpm hdd's
>Have built 3 pc's
Networking:
>Port forwarding and general understanding of what it's for
>have hosted my own game servers for garrys mod, minecraft (sorry), and csgo and have modified lua files (for gmod) to make plugins and assets play nice together
Hacking:
>Doxxing and ip grabbing
>lots of experience with RATs and Crypters
So that's a summary of my knowledge pretty much. Can you guys assess my skill level and point me to where I could possibly learn more about Linux, networking, what the fuck git is and how it works, repositories and how they work, and maybe how to use Kali to further my hacking skills. Sorry for this autistic post, and hope to see some responses.

git is a source version control protocol and program that is used to manage versions of software, google it.
linux is a kernel for a operating system, networking is an extremely complex topic, and neither of those you will get a quality explanation of on /g/.
kali is for actual skids.

no, the point of your post was to look as 'cool' as possible so as to attract someone more intelligent than you, otherwise you would have omitted the things that you KNOW don't make you any less or more good at the things you want to learn.

there is no magical book and nobody here can provide you with the information you seek on /g/ itself unless they want to write out things that there are lengthy college courses on.
if you want to learn to program, go learn c (not c++), if you want to learn networking, google it, stop trying to learn to "hack" until you have extensive knowledge on low level programming languages and computer hardware (this does not mean looking at gpus on the internet), and if you want to learn about "linux" then go to kernel.org, i'm sure they have documentation there.

you're obviously far above the 99% facebook browsers but you're not smart
pick a path and follow said path. I'd highly recommend networking, it's a great place to actually get some skills out of and you could land yourself an actual job with it too. Networking can lead into system administration, linux specialist jobs, netsec jobs, etc. There are a lot of skills that come out of it.

Linux: If you want to know more about linux, the best way is to do. Watch for the friendly linux threads and follow the advice in them. I would start with debian based (ubuntu, kali, etc) distributions.
Coding: While HTML and CSS are not languages, they're still extremely useful if you're getting into web design. Python is a great way to learn, stick with it, and attempt to learn how its interpreter functions. As you learn more about python you're naturally going to run into C, since that is what python compiles down to. C is an amazing language but not built for people just starting out. If you want to get into C awesome I'd say its the next step but it doesn't have nearly the ease/safety net that python has.
Physical hardware: Rasberry Pi /Beagle board / whatever else /g/ is mad about is a good place, doing all of your programming on these will help enforce some idea of how the hardware actually works. Minus RPMs and such. Most of these run linux which should help as well.
Networking: Extremely complex topic, lots of layers (literally). You've done networking on top of the application level, which is a good place to start. If you want to get more into networking you should refer to the OSI Model.
Hacking: lol I wouldn't worry about hacking anything outside of some basic personal security (defensive) for now. You would need to really have a good understanding of coding and networks before you can actually touch security. If you really insist, there are a lot of tools that can help you do some simple shit like cracking WPA.
So above all I'd say you're slightly above average. But average is dog shit when it comes to computers. If you want to know more I'd suggest you RTFD. the sticky has a lot of good resources.

Go into Linux kernel development. There is a famous game around solving little bugs on it which will give you experience with c and git . Also you will get to know a lot about low level stuff that matters. Everybody knows an rpm, or html, python is meant to be that easy and port forwarding is just setting a bunch of options on your router.
