>>52490092
There is nothing wrong with xp.What does 2016 has to do with anything?
>>
>>52490103
except the obvious security issues.
>>52490022
just use OBS on some lightweight GNU/Linux distro and use xp in a VM if you have to. (or WINE)

Just hold the Print screen buton long and it will keep recording your screen until you release it.
>>
>>52490022
OBS?

OBS does not work on xp,most of the stuff i use would not work on linux and using vm will result in shit performance.

Decided to Google. Like
>>52490148 beat me to, Obs straight would not work.

I'll expand on >>52490117
What I would do if I'm making an instructional video or tutorial or some shit is install XP in a virtualbox guest and use virtualbox's built in screen capture.

If you have a legacy video game or something that only wurks in windows XP and you need footage, idk man. Probably just pirate an old version of fraps.

What need are you filling?

so you do professional video editing, matlab and gaming on windows xp of all things? and you are not able to dual boot somehow? are you retarded or so out of space on your HDD that you can't spare 50gb for another partition?
>>
>>52490161
>>52490169
I just want to stream/make videos for fl studio and vanilla wow which works like shit on linux because i tested it already. Also using any os higher than xp fucks with my video card.
>>
>>52490214
Pirated Fraps.
>>
>>52490214
Which card is that?
>>
>>52490219
I can pirate it in a blink of the eye but i want free software and there is no way to stream?
>>
>>52490250
I mean you could run a vnc daemon on the xp system and record a client vnc session from a newer computer running a supported OS but that could be really laggy because of network overhead. But I'm not an expert on that. Of course, this requires another computer.

ffmpeg and sharex should still work if you are too much of a bitch to dual-boot.
>>
Fellow XP user here, don't listen to these people. XP is safe if you know what you're doing.

POSReady / Embedded Windows is not XP.

Those systems also have very tiny attack vector because what they are.

That's the problem with proprietary software, companies start adding malicious/user unfriendly code for their own benefit. Start using free (open source) software anon. It's not just a meme, it's a life style.
