Could be due to it being a new virus. For viruses or malware to be detected, they have to be discovered and added to the database first. If they haven't been discovered, and they aren't in the database, they're virtually undetectable.
If you're really concerned about it, try HitmanPro. It's detected a couple viruses that MBAM didn't, plus it's way faster.
