I tried Fedora but pacman is better than dnf and Arch has more packages that I need (even with rpmfusion)
also Fedora is very different from other distro's (for example SELinux)
also for some reason, they have anti-BF software packages like fail2ban but none of them work on Fedora, "because of systemd". but they do work on Arch
I also prefer (the) Arch (way) for other reasons, like their policy of not messing with upstream sources
and their website is better
but I do use GNOME/Wayland. it's not perfect. Nautilus' pathbar is bugged as hell in 3.18 and devs seemingly haven't checked the bugtracker for 2 months.

It's usable to a certain extent. Expect the mouse to feel laggier, as well as resizing windows.
Combining external non-HiDPI displays with built-in HiDPI laptop display still does not work, pretty much like on x11.
But other than that, I have used Wayland as my daily driver for a few days straight and the experience wasn't excruciating.
