Are we sure that guy is actually putting the pen to the screen? It will show the cursor when the tip is within a few centimeters, but it wont write until contact.

I was looking to buy a Dell laptop for my mom since the one she has is aging and I want to get her something nice.
I have a Dell Inspiron with a 4k resolution screen and I love it. I was thinking about getting her the Dell XPS 13 but I saw that similarly or better speced Dell Inspiron laptops were cheaper.

Inspiron is Dell's standard consumer line. XPS is their flagship line for consumers and small business. XPS customer service is better, and the computers have slightly better build quality. I have an Inspiron but regret not getting a Latitude or Precision.
