You ready for a revolution in technology /g/?

>the now-22-year-old is being held up as a the “new Einstein”, a young woman whose brain works in ways few have ever worked and whose future is limitless.
>>
all the brains in the world can't keep you from being ugly.
>>
>>52460597
is the point that if this were a guy no one would give two shits? cause that's what im getting from this. how many guys do what she's done? surely it's in the dozens. another cunt on a pedestal. fuck off, bitch
>>
>>52460597
I bet she's voting for Trump just like the other intellectuals.
>>
all the brains in the world can't keep you from projecting.
>>
>chicago
>pasterski
/pol/ told me poles are dumb
>>
and then we never heard of her again
>>

Man, most of these child prodigies don't live to the expectations and get depressed when they discover they are not **that** good. Of course there are prodigies that really become geniuses, like Terence Tao.
>>
>>52460597
Doesn't even get to the knee of Jacob Barnett.
>>
>>52460726
But Terence Tao didn't solve the Poincare Conjecture. See most child prodigies end up solving hard problems but not the ones that make you a legend. We'll see about this girl.
>>
>>52460597
>mech. eng.
>new Einstein

I just want to start killing people
>>
>>52460777
>We'll see about this girl.
You mean we won't see.
>>
>>52460777
Why does it matter if they do? Smart people get shit on a LOT for being smart. No one is paying her to stay alive, she's not obligated to do what some lesser minded people want.
>>
>>52460818
Maybe ISIS was right.
>>
>>52460714
She's probably Jewish

>>52460597
>book smart prodigy gets perfect grades
While impressive, nobody will care until she actually does something with that brain. The whole article is basically "look out for this up and coming scientist-engineer-next Einstein".
>>
>>52460597
Setting someone up for such high expectations is a surefire way to turn her in a fuckup. Can't imagine being her in my 35-40's and not having accomplished anything revolutionary. (which will most likely be the case)
>>
>>52460597
>graduated from MIT

This has become so meaningless.

>>
what an unfuckingbelievable insult to Einstein
>>
>>52460597
Every other week, it's some modestly smart woman or minority who's IQ is higher than Einstein's and who is going to literally change everything forever.

And then they don't do anything. I mean, they're successful, because they're still smart, but none of these kids have changed the world.

Then you have people like George Hotz who is so good at what he does he has billionaires and their companies shitting their pants and BEGGING him to join their companies.

Fuck the hype. Skill shows itself eventually.
>>
>>52460597
What does Bezos want from her?

that tight pussy
>>
>>52460597

Top grades mean shit, a lot of geniuses had poor grades, Churchill comes to mind.
>>
>>52461146
What you're saying is correct, but your example is a very poor one. Winston Churchill was a complete idiot in comparison to his contemporaries (FDR, Stalin)

Ok, it says she's built a plane and that she's clever. But it doesn't say what her degree is. It can be comp science for all we know (useless)

Article is garbage.
Thread is shit.
You can all go home now.

probably a mix. poles + jews = bad news just look at sanders.

IMO GeoHot has a better chance to being remembered forerver than whats her name in the article.
Like the saying goes B students go work for the government, A students work for the C students

It takes a certain something to solve problems, not make more.

she sounds like some big loser who instead of doing regular girl stuff like being on sports teams and socializes makes some baby engine in her garage. this is what wrong with all this genius talk - its not real. You choose to become a loser, making some engine instead of being a normal human
>>
>>52461485
>she sounds like some big loser who instead of doing regular girl stuff like being on sports teams and socializes makes some baby engine in her garage.
Her dad did. Not her.

Is that what your parents told you when you were trying to impress a girl with booksmarts?
>>
>>52460637
shes not ugly
>>
>Took her 363 days to assemble a small engine.
>She was probably reading the instructions from a manual or whatever.
>The next Einstein
I could assemble an engine using a manual in 5-6 hours.
>>
>>52460637
shes far prettier than any girl that will ever be attracted to a piece of shit like you.

and no, having money doesn't make them attracted to you, they're just using you for money.

Tell me when she does anything and I'll give a damn

I love these media stories. Anyone remember Elisabeth Holmes? Theranos?..

Do you know what happened witht that megahyped startup that was supposed to sell some new bloodtesting technique? It flopped, everyone's pulling out.

In just one year or so.
>>
>>52461940

it not only flopped, it was a fucking hoax based on faux science
>>
>>52461808
fucking this, not to mention her dad built it
>>
What MMOs does she play?
>>
>>52461983
Yes.

The moral of the story is the media just fucking loves to come up with these stories about upcoming "prodigies".

That chick who started Theranos was hyped as some kind of a CEO prodigy, that will show us the path to the future in medicine.

Every parent must have been reading that story and saying to their offspring: "She's only 29 years old and look what she's already achieved. She's helping humanity and making money. What have you done, anon?"

It turned out it was just a hoax, that was also heavily hyped by the the media.

These stories about prodigies, startup companies that will save humanity etc etc are just media concoctions, served as clickbait for ads.

When will you guys learn. Those who are truly gifted or invent stuff don't sell themselves for a media story so cheaply. They don't really need the hype.

hensforth to be correctly reffered to as the SJW Justice Cucks League of Extrordinary Faggots Affirmative Action Squad
>>
So building a model car/plane is impressive now?
>>
So far all she's done is display that's she's excellent at following instructions.

She has a good future ahead, but she's hardly a new Einsten.
>>
One thing is sure, the next Einstein would never work for Amazon or NASA. He / she would work 40 years as an humble and unknown searcher with low wage and make a big discover in his 50s.
>>
>>52462621
The thing is science has changed a lot since the early 1910s. Today it's basically impossible for one single person to come up with a new paradigm-changing theory in physics based on their own personal reflections.

Most of today's science is done in labs by bigger teams. In physics, moreso today you need more and more expensive equipment to be able to perform experiments that nobody before was able to perform (think the Large Hadron Collider).

The time of Einsteins is truly gone. I mean, you could come up with a new "theory" with bold claims, but guess what, journals are full of those today. Just take a look at arxiv.org to see how many wild theories are published, some of them with far implications, about the fundamental structure of the universe or of matter.
>>
>>52462804
you're talking about implementing current ideas versus thinking of them.

theory is, and always will be, a solitary pursuit.
>>
>>52462899
Theory is dead in physics unless you can test them.
>>
>>52460856
her surname does not sound like a jew

>>
>>52460637
She's only 22. She hasn't even reached her prime yet.
>>
>>52463025
actually, she's about 6 years past it ...
>>
>>52463055
>16 is your prime
If you're a fucking highschooler maybe.
>>
>>52460664
They did a century ago. It's news because its girl, who's young (good for her, no really).

I wonder how much money she used to do that all. There plenty of geniuses out there that can do much more but dong have funding
>>
>>52463055
she's more like 16 years past her prime.
>>
>>52460597
She seems cool enough, not sure how building an airplane engine is considered genius though since my grandpa who never went to high school was capable of such a thing. She's wasting her time at school if she's getting a 5.0 average, she could very easily teach herself anything she wanted to know without paying the ridiculous tuition rates of both those schools.

I feel like they're screwing her over with this article. It's going to make her feel obligated to do something great, and if she can't handle the pressure it will crush her. That or she will become a cynic who stops caring. I wish her the best of luck in any case.
>>
>>52463242
After this, I doubt she doesn't like scholarship after scholarship paying for everything
>>
>>52462116
If it needs shills, it won't pay the bills.

We recently saw the absolute hypocrisy of this behavior with the lord of time, Clockmed. Liberal media hyped him up as a genius but the kid is barely above eating glue. Not to mention his father was using this hype to jew the school and nation for millions.
>>
>>52460597
if people call you the new einstein without you actually putting in the work to be the new einstein, you're probably not it.
>>
>>52460597
this article is satire right?
