Which Linux OS would you /g/ents recommend for running Gnome?

Which Linux OS would you /g/ents recommend for running Gnome? I'm thinking either Ubuntu Gnome or ApricityOS but I'm open to suggestions.
Only experience with Linux prior was running Linux Mint Cinnamon on my old laptop for about 6 months.

Linux Mint is better than Ubuntu in every way, so there's no reason for you to consider Ubuntu.
