At best that's only about 3x more than most SSDs out there right now. Compared to some it's actually less.

>he owns a think pad
enjoy your shitty build quality and sub standard resolution with chink firmware

we're at .30c a gb.

unless they're offering some superior reliability you're better off buying 26x1tb drives and raiding them all. (1tb samsung 850 pro is about $200 now, so thats $5200 + a good raid controller and power supply about $6000-$7000)

theirs no real market for this drive at that price, and its more of a we can.

Where are you seeing that?

https://pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz7ke1t0bw

Cheapest it is on there is $420.

It is slow as shit, why would you want this in your laptop?
It is clearly meant for servers people who hate harddrives.

I bought mine for $200 brand new. So don't have a reply to that.

but I'm sure if you're ordering in bulk you can get a bit of a discount.

but even using that price 13 of them s $6,500 which is half, and depending on your set up you can get higher reads and writes.

again this drive makes no sense.

Not yet, but shit's always expensive at the outset. SSDs in and of themselves were way more expensive when they first appeared than this drive is. Given time I'm sure it will be comparable in price per byte to any other SSD, then it will be totally worth it for anyone who wants crazy amounts of storage.
>>
Once again retards on /g/ focus on price and think this is for regular consumers and that every bestbuy will stock it.

The main point here is that SSDs surpassed HDDs in one thing they were better at. In 2020 that may be your standard laptop drive faggots. The price is going to go only down.
