As far as I remember, Vincent picked Hetzner.de because of their "priority" support which he ended up paying more than he would have at Leaseweb. This is all so deluded.
The very best option would be to colocate a dedicated server where the data center personnel has least access to the server. I'm not saying it would stop seizing hard drives, but it would at least be more sensible than letting German authorities do their usual tricks on Hetzner that we've seen for years. Even so, you'd have more control over the hardware, paying less in the long term and a single hard drive seizure wouldn't be bad if you add another drive after it.
