What error code/message is it giving you on the blue screen specifically? Could you check?
Also..... you could also do a quick google search with with that code/message and probably get a answer. At the very least you could post it here. Also, we have a /sqt/ for things like this specifically, I would recommend it.

Put it back in the box, send it back to ebay and tell the guy he sold you a dud.
Once you get new ram that works, all will be fine.
