Intel's octa-cores use 140W. What's your point?

Seriously though, why would amd make such a bottlenecked APU? Shit processor, with the HD 8210 graphics. I'm surprised this garbage plays WoW of medium.

Because it's designed for laptops that cost less than you spend on burgers in a week.

>tfw you need to get a laptop for mobility but you are pretty much fucked with all the options out there.
Sometimes I wish life was easy as getting a thinkpad.
>>
>>52431513
Some non-thinkpad lenovos are pretty solid. None of that yogashit

I'm still concerned about laptops, I wish you can go there and get a standard, but it pretty much resumes to trendy shit companies want to sell, laptops that have "good parts" and laptops with random pieces put together.

I still hope I don't need to go and buy a Mac or something with overly price tag to run the programs that I need.
>>
>>52431531
the thinkpad yoga actually is pretty legit. still has rollcage and all that fun stuff
>>
>>52431276
>mfw cpu cooler is so shit I can't even maintain 4.2 ghz and had to disable turbo
kill me, it's an aftermarket one too
>>
>>52431621
You probably fucked up applying the thermal paste/cum, anon.
>>
>>52431603
The first generation ones i saw were pretty flimsy and poorly built. haven't seen the newer ones though.

The old and new IdeaPad's are pretty fucking solid. I have had mine since 2011 and its still my workhorse PC. Dropped it from server racks n shit plenty of times, bent the bezel back and place and snaps in like nothing happened.
>>
>>52431640
no, it maintains decent temps without OC (20 idle, 45 load)
but the cpu can't go over 60 on load and an OC to 4.2 does that
>>
>>52431649
there are lenovo yogas and thinkpad yogas. thinkpad yogas are basically slimline T series. About a half step away from business class

What's the point of this thread?

I mean.. isn't this all old news, available on any half-baked review/benchmark site?

FX-6300 Stock.
Need to get a cheap cooler and OC, but I'm hitting 60 fps+ in all my gaymes, so I'm reluctant.

R9 290 + Fx-6300 = Perfect 1080p Gaymen

Not upgrading till Zen, and maybe not even then if it isn't necessary.
