>>52421321
>>52421337
Why is your cpu fan pointed at your gpu?
>>52421416
yeah it is, and i have 1 intake on the front of the case (so bottom right) that cool air blows over the gpu and into the cpu cooler, it all stays pretty cool, and with the mobo i can;t mount the cooler perpendicular to how it is now
>>52421428
would it work better on the other side? i tried that and the temps went up slightly.. + i don't want the top fan to be an intake because my house gets dusty
>>52421455
you could just turn it, however if it's not a major issue then just leave it
Otherwise it's looking good, nice cable management
>>52421380
>implying it's new
>implying it was all bought at once
670s were still damn good cards when I did this. I've moved from Ivy Bridge to Devil's Canyon on account of a faulty motherboard since building my loop, but kept the GPUs. Pic related, it's the last system I had running air. It's my mortgage that's keeping me from upgrading the GPUs, not my loop.
>>52421389
Not particularly difficult. You PROBABLY have enough clearance to mount a Swiftech MCR140 X-Drive on that top 140mm fan mount, which is a reservoir, pump, and radiator in one unit. If you used a slim 240mm rad on the front as well, you'd have plenty of capacity for your system. The only other wrinkle would be the GPU. I haven't seen a three slot cooler for a while, so I'm assuming it's a bit older. Non reference coolers aren't the water cooling death sentence they used to be, but for something like that you'll probably struggle to find a full cover block. You always have the option of using a universal block with small heatsinks on your VRM and VRAM though.

I'm Noctua and I have mixed feelings about this message.
Today I found out that my mobo was missing a screw on one of the standoffs. I've bundled up the sata fan cables and tucked them in closer in one bunch, using up a space of two ports vertically instead of three. 92mm fan is buzzing again because of the clips. I am considering a windowed panel in the future.

It's a front intake, not rear. I've got a Noctua Redux 14mm fan on front. You *can* use a 20cm fans, but some don't fit, and even the ones that do will interfere with long gpus & 240mm AIOs like the h100i that I have.
I've had this since last June, I only clean the dust filters once a month, and I've never had to blow out the inside. There's a little bit of dust inside now because my rear fan mounts aren't filtered, but it's nothing a few puffs of air won't clean. (80mm dust filters are like $2 apiece, I just haven't gotten around to ordering them).

Just a last question. Does the front cooler blow air to the inside or to the outside?
Would be kind of bizarre if the thing indeed takes the hot air from inside and throw away but still, it had a filter.
The filter would end up being a barrier to keep the hot air inside IMO.

No trouble, I enjoy helping! There wasn't much info on this case when I bought it. You can set it up either way. Currently I have it pushing air inside, and then exhausting from the side through the CPU radiator. I'm going to try flipping it soon to see what the results are like.
The two side panels both have magnetic dust filters that are easily removed, and the front filter is just a simple clip, so you can easily change them up to suit your intake/exhaust layout. I've currently got the radiator side filter removed for exactly the reason you stated.

Most people I know change cases with each platform upgrade.
That isn't to say don't buy an expensive case, I'm pointing out people want different looks and layouts if they upgrade. But if you can stomach the same shit then yeah that's an acceptable excuse.

>TFW I've change cases without changing the entire system just because I wanted a better case
I went from a Coolermaster 430 Elite (EUGK) to a Fractal Design Define R4 to the Define S.
Went from R4 to DS because I wanted a window, better airflow and to eventually move up onto custom loop cooling.

used a spare expansion slot cover, bent it and propped it under the gpu, you can see it on the far right of the gpu, it is perforated.

everbody always posts front guts but never the ugly mess of cables in the back.
my shit looks acceptable in the front but the back is such a cable mess i can't even put the back side of my case on and since i swap shit out so much it's not worth my time to do any real cable management since i'd have to undo it every time i swap shit out.

Considering this one fore a future imITX build. How do you like it? Is it good? They say it's a budget case; is it worse build quality than the ATX/mATX versions? Will it survive when that psu blows up?

I'm going to fix the bottom cables soon.
Leak tested and virtually finished.
Just need to dremel a hole in the bottom of the case for the pump to stick through and it'll be completely done.

The Evolv mITX is pretty damn huge for a mITX case, may as well go mATX for the extra expansion slot if you go that big.
